What To Expect
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class in order to sign in and get acquainted with the studio. Studio doors are locked promptly at the start of class and late arrivals may not be admitted.
There are cubbies available to store your personal items. We recommend leaving any valuables at home, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. No cell phones are allowed in the yoga room.
What to bring to class:
– Water & towel
– Yoga mat (we have ones you can borrow if needed)
– An open mind
We have all the props you need here at the studio for class: mats, blocks, straps, etc. without a fee.
Yoga classes are heated to a range of 82-86 degrees per class descriptions. Yin and Restorative classes are unheated.
Why do we heat the room?
- Heat is a tool for transformation in our yoga practice and in our lives. Heat is designed to detoxify and support flexibility/openness for a better overall yoga experience.
- Heat also creates an added challenge allowing individuals to go deeper than a pose or sequence may allow while taking us out of that well known “comfort zone.” This allows you to focus on being in the now or present moment. You can then transition these assets with you off of your mat. When life gets crazy, yoga teaches us to stay centered and strong.
